Breathwork Ceremony - San Francisco

“What an incredible introduction to breathwork. The ceremony was amazing, humbling, and life changing.” –N.S.

Breathwork is one of the most powerful and profound tools available for deep work of the Self. In this ceremony, you will engage an active, deep breathing technique to create the conditions for healing in your body, and reconnect to the wisdom that lies beyond any confusion, self-doubt, fragmentation, and isolation. In reclaiming the fullness of your breath, the body can discharge energetic holdings (from trauma, daily stressors, undigested emotional experiences, etc.) that consume your life force energy and limit your capacity to rest in your body with ease, clarity, joy, love, and power.

While each journey is unique, people commonly experience significant breakthroughs related to physical and emotional healing (shifting patterns of chronic anxiety, insomnia, etc.), and often experience transcendent states of consciousness and ‘samadhi’ type experiences.

Tai holds a strong and compassionate container for this sacred work of healing and remembering, and you will receive individual support, including hands-on work and shamanic healing.

The ceremony will include an opening circle, followed by a thorough introduction to the breathwork technique. The breathwork journey itself lasts approximately 90-minutes, and a dynamic soundtrack – along with live shamanic drumming, chanting, and rattling – supports the work. There will be time at the end for integration and brief sharing (as desired).

-A yoga mat, cozy blanket, and thin pillow
-Layered, comfortable clothing; body temperature can fluctuate, so please wear layers and non-restrictive clothing
-Optional: Eye pillow or mask/bandana to block out light

Breathwork is of benefit to anyone interested in living one’s highest potential, and no prior experience is required. As this process can be physically and emotionally demanding, please CONTACT TAI prior to registration if you have any of the following conditions: pregnancy, severe hypertension or cardiovascular disease, epilepsy, bipolar disorders or schizophrenia, or recent major surgeries or communicable diseases.
