Resources to Support Your Journey
YOGA & Meditation WEBSITES
Yogaglo.com | A great resource for online yoga, meditation, and philosophy. For asana practice, I recommend teachers Tias Little, Jason Crandell, Annie Carpenter, Rod Stryker, and Tiffany Cruikshank. For meditation, David Harshada Wagner (as well as Tias, Annie, and Rod). For yoga philosophy and teachings as they translate off the mat, Dr. Douglas Brooks is recommended.
Yogaanytime.com | Great philosophy series from Erich Schiffmann, James Boag, and Richard Svoboda. Also check out content by Richard Rosen for pranayama and breath-based inquiries.
Dharma.org | Home of the Insight Meditation Society, offering meditation-related resources and retreats.
PodcastS & APPS
10% Happier with Dan Harris | A rich and well-produced podcast featuring interviews with wide ranging individuals on the topic of meditation, mindfulness, and personal growth and enrichment. The app is an excellent resource for guided meditations.
Waking Up with Sam Harris | Great meditation app from Sam Harris with guided meditations (of varying lengths) and lessons inviting inquiry and insight.
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE WORK
Myofascial work helps unwind tension in the body and is an excellent at-home, self-care resource. I recommend purchasing Jill Miller's book (founder of the TuneUp Method), along with a set of the Therapy Plus size balls on Amazon.
These are my "go to's" for clean, healthy, and nourishing meals.
